We are an established, experienced firm who aggressively defend their Clients who have become involved, for whatever reason, with the Criminal Justice system, from initial arrest by Police to any subsequent appearance before the Criminal Courts. The firm was established in the late 1950's by Alan Mackesy and was subsequently taken over in 1984 by the current Principal, Geoffrey Wordsworth. The firm has expanded rapidly and now has in excess of 40 Solicitors and senior legal executives within the Criminal Department. We have specialisations in all areas of criminal law, from minor offences to serious crimes such as murder, fraud and conspiracies. We have specialist departments dealing with Police Station arrests, Court appearances, Youth offending, Advocacy, Appeals and Prisoner's Rights. We cover cases throughout London, M25, Surrey and Kent. We also represent Clients throughout the UK on serious matters. We operate out of three offices in south west, south and south east London. We have consultation rooms in Central London to allow Clients based in north west, north, north east and Central London (by appointment only).

R -v E : Prison Law matter View details: Lodged application in High Court for Habeus Corpus on behalf of Client we contended had been given an illegal sentence. He was released.
Met Police -v- A : Allegation of corruption View details: Client has been arrested on an allegation of corruption whilst in a public office. As a result of our involvement, Case recently dropped against Client.
R -v- P: Appeal Case. View details: Client convicted of murder. Succesful appeal due to new evidence presented to CA resulted in conviction declared as unsafe. Re-Trial ordered.
R -v- Mc: Client acquitted View details: Client acquitted after 13 day trial on charges of kidnapping and false imprisonment
R -v- P: Client acquitted of Supply of drugs. View details: Client acquitted of Supply of Class A drugs.
